I am so happy to hear you like them! They look wonderful on you. ( To be fair, pretty much anything looked good on those legs. )

You will have to forgive me for such a late reply, but I have been meaning to thank you for your gifts as well. That drawing was incredible, and the stockings - ah. Well, I can just show you. ( And she does; setting up her tome and stepping back to reveal her in the stockings Rowan had gotten her and a ruffled button up shirt that looks like it belongs to someone 1) more masculine and 2) bigger than her. ) They are perfect.

No worries, love, Christmas is a black hole what time disappears into.

[They grin to see the stockings, but even more so to see the shirt.] I knew they'd look great on you. That shirt's cute too. [They wink at her, as though they don't have shirts from both Lucas and Max in their cupboard.]

( Yeah...Christmas. )

Hm? Oh! ( She laughs, cheeks darkening slightly. ) It is one of Astarion's - have you met him, by chance? ( surely they knew of him, right? )

I might have seen him around, but I don't know the name. What's he look like?

( She proceeds to describe the vampire spawn in vivid detail, her tone almost dreamy. ) ...Ruby red eyes, pale skin. ( etc. etc. )

[Oh no, she's so cute, and clearly besotted. Rowan lets her talk, enjoying her enthusiasm.]

Sounds hot. [And should stand out in a crowd. Rowan'll have to keep their eyes out for him.] Is he treating you proper?

( She laughs, her cheeks dark with a blush. ) Of course. Every moment spent with him is wonderful, even when we are doing nothing at all but enjoying one another's company.

I imagine it must be similar for you and Max and Lucas, hm?

Good. I'm glad you've found someone what makes you happy. [And they mean it too. Anyone that makes Lioriley smile like that sits high in Rowan's esteem ~~until they find out what he is, anyway~~.]

And yeah, it's the same with Max and Lucas. [They smirk.] I pinched myself some of their shirts too. [Of course that's more or less unnecessary now they're normally all in Max's room or the cuddle attic, so Rowan has full access to both mens' wardrobes, but it's still good to know they have some squirrelled away in their own cupboard.] I know Lucas has at least one of Max's too, but Max is out of luck. [With a laugh.]

( She laughed in turn, trying to imagine Max attempting to wear either Lucas or Rowan's clothing. ) Poor Max. But I bet you are practically swimming when you wear one of his.

It's like having a dress. [Rowan confirms with another chuckle.] Like yours, really. [They gesture at her again from their side of the call.]

So, how'd you meet? [They put their chin on their hand, smiling at her broadly. Give them all the details! And also they want to give her a chance to talk about him some more, so they can see that besotted smile again.]

Yes. And they are always so warm, somehow. ( which is funny, considering. They always smell like Astarion too and it makes her feel like he's there when when he isn't. She's really gross! )

We met at the Sweetsong not long after his arrival. Not many days after my own, either. ( funny, she thought, how she had never even considered that before.) He seemed to be looking for company so I decided to join him. We spent the rest of the night telling one another stories from back home and the like - he was very charming. He still is, of course.

Yep! Smell good too. Like a hug when they ain't around to give it to you.

And that's cute. It was like that for me and Lucas too. Well, he ain't charming, and I ran into him out in town, but then we went down to the pub and were chatting all afternoon. [It's their turn to go soft and affectionate, and as they speak they move to twist a slim golden ring on their little finger.]

Lucas is very charming! ( She laughs and yet somehow still sounds sincere, because she thinks he is! Like...not in the same sense that Astarion is charming, but he has his own way of acting and speaking that she finds endearing. She will defend his honor here.

Rowan is so cute though, and Lioriley's eyes glance as best they can downward to see if she can even tell what they're turning in their hand. She heard mention of promise rings before. did they finally do it? ) I hope he walked you to your room afterwards. Or did you walk him? ( equally as romantic. )

In a daft and soft way, yeah, not like Max who's all suave until he starts dropping stupid puns on you. [Has Rowan mentioned how much they love their mates? They're both perfect, and Rowan's so lucky.

They snort, and shake their head to the question, then lift their hand to tuck their hair out of their face again, revealing the ring on their finger.] More like we staggered back together. Got lost a couple of times too. We ain't classy, not like you and your Astarion.

( She laughs, unable to argue their very valid points about either man. It is very clear they love them both a lot. How sweet. )

In our defense, we did more speaking than drinking. And I cannot become intoxicated, so there was no need to stagger home. ( she hadn't spent the night with Astarion either, not in the biblical sense.

The shine of the ring is enough to get her to ask: ) Forgive me if this is too forward - is that a promise ring? Lucas spoke of his idea for some during our friend-date.

You can't? Fuck, you're missing out, it's great fun. Well, until it ain't, obviously, but I'm one of those lucky bastards that don't get hang overs. [Or at least, they can heal them off after the fact.]

Oh, this? [They twist it, and smile softly.] Yeah, we exchanged them at New Years. Keeping things special, even though we ain't exclusive, you know.

Speaking of which, and please tell me if this is out of order, how're you two managing it? [Is she off the market now?]

Before the full restoration of my healing magicks I felt the beginnings of a buzz, but only after an excessive amount had been ingested. I will not miss the feeling overmuch. ( She experienced it once. She's good forever now.

Her leylines brighten a little.) That is wonderful to hear. I had hoped he would go through with it.

As for Astarion and myself we have decided that the demands of the realm make it difficult for one to be sexually exclusive, but we do not discuss our exploits. ( a beat. Her voice drops just a touch. ) I fear I might become jealous if I were to know what he does with others. But, romantically, we have vowed to only be with eachother - and, if I am honest, I much prefer it that way. He is the only one to have my heart, and I, his.

Yeah, we'd been talking about them from when we all got together, and Max and Lucas had already discussed them too. Just needed to iron out the kinks first, right? And the new year seemed like as good a time as any to seal the deal, as it were.

That's a good way of dealing with it. I don't reckon it's possible to go any other way in this place, but it's good that you worked it out together.

Means I don't have to sulk about him stealing you completely away too. [They add, with a playful wink.]

( her smile was beaming; as bright as the lines on her skin, genuinely pleased to hear they had all decided on their promise ring arrangement. Even if she didn't really understand 'promise rings' in general. ) You are all so precious. ( and Lucas had the audacity to say she and Astarion were disgusting. )

I am sure I could manage if I tried, but I do enjoy the sexual intimacy I have shared with a few others. ( A slight grin, cheeks darkening. ) Yourself included.

[Rowan snorts, but smiles in turn, twisting the ring again.] Dunno about that. I'm bloody lucky, I know that much. [It's more than they ever thought could be possible.

And that blush is so cute. They wish they were with her to kiss her cheeks.] Well, just so you know, my bed's always open to you if you want to have fun again sometime. Or just cuddles and chats too.

So are they. ( She adds with a hum, glancing to the ring once more - as best she can through the tome, anyway.

Her smile widened. ) Glad I am to hear that. Though you may have to compete with Astarion if it is cuddles you are hoping for. ( that's a joke.

[Rowan smiles a little, but it's still hard to believe that they didn't get the better end of this bargain. Just look at Lucas and Max! And Rowan gets to share in on that.]

Pfft, well. Ain't much hope for me then! I'll have to seduce you just to get cuddles afterwards. [They waggle their eyebrows, clearly playing. Or at least mostly.]

( She laughs heartily at that, leylines flickering. )

I was only teasing! Well, for the most part. Although I am not opposed to your method either. ( Not that it would take much for Rowan to 'seduce' her, given the fact that they had already slept together. ) Really, all you need do is ask and I will make time for you. Cuddles or otherwise.

[It might not take much, but the flirting is part of the fun. Rowan flirts twice as much with Max and Lucas as they ever did before.

But their smile is true as she offers her time, tilting their head just slightly and leaning into the camera a little.]

Then that makes me almost as lucky as your Astarion.

And for the record, the same goes for you, Lior. Anytime you need me.
